A Training Retreat for Leaders on Immersion Programs

There are a range of opportunities for Jewish students to be madrichim, or leaders, on immersion experiences. Immersion programs, such as Israel Programs, Poland Trips, Derech Eretz, are always looking for talented, dynamic and well trained leaders.

Individual immersion programs have training for their leaders once selected. However, for those students who are unexperienced and interested in becoming a leader, there is no training for them to develop themselves in these specific skill areas.

Hillel Footsteps provides this training, and thereby aims to fill a niche gap in the Sydney Jewish community.

The first Hillel Footsteps weekend retreat took place on August 15th, 16th and 17th, 2008.
